PREPARATION

Try not to shower, shave or use any hair products right before your session. If you feel you need to shower right before make sure to rinse with cool water, but do not use any products.

Look at the forecast! If rain or snow is expected, come prepared. Ex: bring an umbrella, cover up, and wear closed toe shoes.

Wait the given amount of processing time until showering. Waiting the appropriate amount of time ensures that the tan will develop properly.
Avoid any activities that may cause you to get wet or sweaty while your tan is processing.
Always wear loose, dark clothing until your first rinse.
Do not wear any lotions, makeup, perfumes etc. directly on your skin until your first rinse.
When processing time is up, rinse thoroughly to prevent the cosmetic bronzer (temporary layer) from staining your skin. Rinse until the water is clear.
Avoid using any soaps, shaving, hair washing, etc. during your first rinse. Only water is needed.
Aftercare products are a must for your tan. A tan extending lotion and a soap specifically made for spray tans are recommended. This will ensure your tan fades evenly and lasts longer.
Mineral oils, petroleum, alcohol, parabens and sulfates found in most lotions and body washes can cause your tan to fade unevenly and may cause your tan to fade sooner. Please ask us about what products we recommend for after care.
Keeping your body and moisturized is crucial to keeping the tan hydrated. Hydrated skin will allow for the best, long-lasting color. Make sure to drink lots of water as well!
Avoid the use of hot tubs and chlorinated pools! These will fade your tan quicker.
If you tan regularly, please make sure you exfoliate your tan off before receiving a new application. This will allow the best, long-lasting new glow.
